Applied Science University is a private university located in the Shafa Badran suburb of Amman, in Jordan. It was established in 1991 as the largest private university in Jordan in terms of campus area and number of students' enrollment. Applied Science Private University has obtained the Quality Management System (ISO 9001: 2000) from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance since 2003 and was the first university to receive this certification in the Middle East.
